If you thought that last year’s AR-15 ban was the end game for Governor Pritzker — I’ve got bad news for you.

Insiders report that even while we challenge last year’s AR-15 ban in Federal Circuit Court, Pritzker’s allies in Springfield intend to file much worse legislation this year.

We expect one of Pritzker’s stooges in the legislature to file Mental Health Gun Control legislation very soon, mandating that we submit to a mental health exam in order to buy a gun!

No, this is not a joke.

Similar legislation is on the move in other ‘blue’ states.

And given how power-hungry Pritzker is, this is exactly the kind of legislation that we’d expect them to file in the wake of this year’s ‘assault weapons’ ban.

Gun owners in Illinois are used to non-stop gun control bills coming out of Springfield. But this proposal would unleash a tyranny unlike anything we’ve ever seen! 

You see, Pritzker and the Commies here in Springfield want the ability to snap their fingers and disarm their political opponents without having to convict us in court.

And these bogus mental health tests are the tool they need to do just that.

Because let’s face it: if you admit to loving America, our Founding Fathers, or the Second Amendment, you’re not going to pass this ‘test.’ In fact, you’ll likely be labeled a domestic terrorist by the Biden Administration!

This isn’t a test; it’s a sham that is designed to disarm you and me.

That’s why I hope you’ll sign your OFFICIAL PETITION against this tyrannical legislation, so the politicians in Springfield know you are 100% opposed to this bill!

OPPOSE PRITZKER’S WAR ON GUN OWNERS!

It’s important that you do, so that we can show the legislature that gun owners are aware of what they are doing.

Obviously, no gun owner wants a criminally deranged person walking around carrying a gun. But there is already a process in place to deal with people like that.

Just consider the facts.

Under current law, those who exhibit ‘warning signs’ can already be detained by law enforcement — at a minimum — and can be taken to a care facility for treatment, if necessary.

But this legislation has nothing to do with attempting to help individuals who need mental health treatment.

On the contrary, this legislation is about authorizing Governor Pritzker to weaponize ‘mental health staffers’ across the state and instruct them to deny your right to own a firearm for just about any reason they want!

It wouldn’t matter if you’ve not been charged with a crime!

It wouldn’t matter if you have a spotless record!

It wouldn’t matter if you’ve been a gun owner for decades!

That’s because this legislation isn’t about public safety. It simply a tool for power-hungry tyrants like Pritzker to use as he tries to disarm every single gun owner in Illinois.

Tyrannical dictators have been labeling political opponents as ‘mentally defective’ as a way to punish them for centuries.

Former Russian leaders Stalin, Khrushchev, and Brezhnev imprisoned countless people who disagreed with their Communist agenda, leaving them in prison or labor farms or worse…

China’s Chairman Mao did this too, denying people who questioned him the right to vote, travel, and much more, claiming that they were mentally defective.

And now Governor Pritzker — who has the same lust for power as any of the names mentioned above — is trying to do the same thing: use the results of a politically motivated mental health test against gun owners who disagree with his agenda.

Don’t let him get away with it!

This is the very definition of tyranny!

Could we fight this bill in court should it be signed into law? Yes, but that would take years. And that assumes that the court would agree to hear the case in the first place.

That’s why the Illinois Firearms Association is mounting a massive grassroots program to flood the legislature with calls, emails, and signed petitions opposing this legislation!

Part of our program includes:

1. Targeted digital ads; which allow us to reach hundreds of thousands of gun owners across the state, giving them the facts about this bill. These ads are very cost efficient, too, as they are easily re-shared by gun owners.
   
2. A powerful texting program; text-based alerts are one of the most effective tools at our disposal because they appear right on gun owners’ phones and have an almost 100% viewing rate. And they are very cost effective, too.
3. The biggest direct mail and email program possible; nothing penetrates Big Tech’s censorship more thoroughly these days than direct mail and email communication. In fact, mail and email programs are more important than ever for gun owners as they cannot be ‘deplatformed!’
4. Radio ads when floor votes are scheduled; nothing reaches mass quantities of gun owners faster than a radio and TV blitz. Yes they are expensive, but our ads will hit hard and are worth it, especially in tight districts.

As you can see, this program is going to be brutally effective if we can implement it. It’s designed to send a simple message to politicians in vulnerable districts: if you vote for this bill, you can kiss your political careers goodbye! 

But I can’t run this program without your help.
